359 beyond the curbs, and where no curbs exist, then beyond the curb lines, and across the sidewal~ reservations to the north and south property lines of'the described portio~ of West First Street; also on and along that open public street in said city, commonly known as South Flower Street, and which extends from the south line of West First Street to the North line of Fairview Avenue, and the entire width of South Flower Street, from the curb con- structed on the easterly side thereof to the curb constructed on the westerly side thereof, and where no curb is constructed then to the easterly end westerly curb lines existing on South Flower Street, and when any street or alley intersects or terminates in South Flower Street, then beyond the curbs, and where no curb exist, beyond'the curb lines, and across the sidewalk reser- vations tc the east and west property lines of South Flower Street. The use hereinafter in this Resolution of Intention of certain words or phrases are intended to mean, do mean, and shall at all times be construed to have the meaning herein defined. The words "North Flower Street" means the pcztion of that street above described. The words "West First Street", means the portion of that street above described. The words "South Flower Street" me~ns that street as above described. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha intends to order done and made in, on and along North Flower Street is briefly described as follows: (1) The regrading of North Flower Street to a sub- g~&de 6~ inches below a grade on North Flower Street which sha~l hereafter become and constitute the true and official grade thereof, when the present grade on North Flower Street is mofi- fled and changed as in this Resolution of Intention set forth end provided for. (2) The construction of a concrete curb along the East and west sides of North Flower Stre$, and where a street or alley intersects or terminates in North Flower Street, then the construction of return concrete curb on each side of the intersecting or terminating street or alley to the property line on the east and west sides of North Flower ~treet. (3) The repavement of that portion of North Flower Street occupied by an embraced within its intersection by Second and Third Streets, and the pavement of the remaining portion of North Flower Street by the construction on the sub- grade of a concrete pavement five inches thick overlaid with an asphaltic concrete wearing surface 1½ inches thick, and completed to the modified and changed grade. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana intends to order done and made in, on, and along West First Street is briefly described as follows:-
