360 <br /> <br /> (1) The regrading of West First Street to a subgrade 6~ <br /> inches below the official grade on West First Street, as now <br /> established. <br /> <br /> (2) The pavement of West First Street by the construction <br /> on the subgrade of a concrete pavement five inches thick, over- <br /> laid with an asphaltic concrete wearing surface 1½ inches thick <br /> and completed to the official grade. <br /> <br /> The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the <br /> City of Santa Ann intends to order done and made in, on and <br /> along Sout~ Flower Street is briefly described as £ollows:- <br /> <br /> (1) The regrading of South Flower Street to m sub,rads <br /> 6~ inches below the official grade on South Flower Street, as <br /> <br /> now established. <br /> <br /> (2) The pavement of South Flower Street by the construction <br /> on the subgrade of a concrete pavement five inches thick, overlaid <br /> with an asphaltic concrete wearing surface l½ inches thick, and <br /> completed to the of£icis~ grade. <br /> <br /> (3) The construction of a concrete curb alcn~ the east <br /> and west sides of South Flower Street, and where a ~trset or alley <br /> <br /> intersects or terminates in South Flower Street, then the conmtruct- <br /> ~n:of:return concrete curb on each si~e of the intersection or <br /> terminating street ar alley to the property line on the east and <br /> west sides of South Flower Street. <br /> <br /> (4) The excavation of a main sewer trench along the center <br />line of South 'Flower Street, approximately seven (~) feet deep, <br />and extending from the manhole now constructed in South Flower <br />Street at the point of the intersection thereof by the center line <br />of Pine Street extended West across South Flower Street, north <br />a distance of 310 feet to a point, the excavation of said point <br />for the installation of a flush tank; the construction in said <br />excavation of a concrete syphon flush tank; the construction in <br />said sewer trenc~ of a 6" inside diameter, Vitrified salt glazed <br />cylindrical main sewe~; connecting the above mentioned manhole <br />and flush tank to be constructed. The sewer trench to be backfllled <br />and settled to a true and solid surface on the subgrade. <br /> <br /> (5) The excavation of fifty-two (5~) lateral house connect- <br />ion newer trenches, approximately six feet deep, said trenches to be <br />opposite each lot, piece or parcel of land fronting on Sou~h Flower <br /> <br />Street, except where a lateral <br />each trench to extend easterly <br />the main newer pipe line to be <br /> <br />house connection sewer already exists; <br />or westerly as the case may be from <br />constructed as hereinaOove briefly <br /> <br />descriOed, and that which is now constructed and existing along <br />approximately the center line of South Flower Street to and flush <br />with the inside of the curb now constructed and existing on South <br />Flower Street,.and where no curb now constructed then to and inside <br />of the curb line. The laying in each of said trenches of a lateral <br />house connection Sewer constructed of 4" inside diameter vitrified <br />salt glazed cFlindrioal sewer pipe connected with the said main <br />sewer pipe line and extending from said main sewer pipe line to and <br /> <br /> <br />
