<br /> Whereas, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha did,
<br /> at a regular meeting thereof held on ~he 3rd day of October, l~21,
<br /> pass a resolution of intention to order the hereinafter desOribed
<br /> work to be done and improvement to be m~de in the city of Santa
<br /> Ana, and which resolution is designated Resolution of Intention
<br /> No. 729; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, ~eeolution of Intention No. ?29 was and has been pub-
<br /> lished twice, to-wit: on the 5th e.nd 6th days of October, 1921,
<br /> in Santa Ana Dsily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published
<br /> and circulated iN the city of Santa Ana, and designated by the
<br /> Board of Trustees of said city for that purpose, all as appears
<br /> by the affidavit of T. G. ~cDonour, now on file in the office of
<br /> the Clerk of the city of Santa Ana; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, after the adoption of Resolution of Intention No.
<br /> ?29 , the Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Aha posted
<br /> conspicuously along the line of the contemplated wor~ and improve-
<br /> ment, less than three hundred feet in distance apart, and 52 in
<br /> all, "notice of improvement" in manner, form, and substance as re-
<br /> quired by law and provided by Resolution of Intention No. ?29; and
<br /> the work being chargeable upon a district, also posted conspicuous-
<br /> ly copies of said notice along all the open streets within the dis-
<br /> trict less than 300 ft. in distance apart, on each street so posted,
<br /> and there being posted 60 notices in all; and all of which posting
<br /> was fully completed on the gth day of October, 1921, as appears by
<br /> the Affidavi~ of Edw. W. Dah], said Street Superintendent, on file
<br /> in the office of the Clerk of the city of Saute Aha.

<br /> Whereas, pursuant to the directions set forth in Resolution
<br />of Intention No. 729, the Clerk of the city of Santa Ana, on the
<br />?th day of October, 1921, mailed copies of said notices to the
<br />owners smd reputed owners of the property in the assessment district
<br />whose names and addresses were known to said Clerk, and there being
<br />mailed 112 of said notices in all, as appears by the affidavit of
<br />E. L. Vegely, sai5 Clerk of the city of Santa Ana, now on file in
<br />his cf fica; and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, on Monday, the 24th day of October, 1921, at the
<br />hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m. of that day, in the council chamber of
<br />the Board of Trustees of the city of S~nta Ana, no person having
<br />any objection to the proposed work or improvement appeared before
<br />said Board of Tzustees to show cause why said proposed improvement
<br />should nc~ be carried out, in accordance with Resolution No.
<br />and no protests or objections in writing o~ otherwise having been
<br />delivered to the Clerk of the city of Santa Aha, up to the hour of
<br />7:3G o'clock p.m. of ~onday, the 24th d~y of October, 1~21, being
<br />the hour set for said hearing~ and
