385 <br /> <br /> (3) The construction of a concrete curb along the east and <br /> we~t sides of South Flower Street and where a street or alley inter- <br /> sects or terminates in South Flower Street, then the construction <br /> of return concrete curb on each side of the intersecting or ter- <br /> minating street or alley to the property line on the east and west <br /> sides of South Flower Street. <br /> <br /> (4) The excavation of a main sewer trench along the center <br /> line of South Flower Street, approximately seven (7) feet deep, <br /> and extending from the man-hole now constructed in South Flower <br /> Street at the point of the intersection thereof by the center line <br /> of Pine Street extended west across South Flower Street, north a <br /> distance o£ 310 feet to a point, the excavation at said point for <br /> the installatio?~ of a flush tank; the construction in said ex- <br /> cavation of a concrete syphonL flush tank; the construction in said <br /> sewer t~ench of a 6-inch, inside diameter, vitrified salt glazed <br /> cylindrical main sewer; connecting the above-mentioned manhole and <br /> flush tank to be constructed. The sewer trench to b e baCk-filled <br /> and settled to a true and solid surface on the subgrade. <br /> <br /> (5) The excavation of fifty-two (52) lateral house con- <br />nection sewer trenches, approximately 6 feet deep, said trenches <br />~o be opposite each lot, piece or parcel of land fronting on South <br />Flower Street, except where a lateral house connection sewer <br />ready exists; each trench to extend easterly or westerly a~ the <br />case may be from the main sewer pipe line to be constructed ae <br />hereinabove briefly described, and that which is now constructed <br />and existing along approximately the center line of ~outh Flower <br />Street to and £1ush with the inside of the curb now constructed <br />and existing on South Flower Street, and where no c~rb is now <br />constructed then to and inside of the curb line. THe laying in <br />each of said trenches of a lateral house connection sewer con- <br />structed of 4-inch inside diameter vitrified salt glazed cylind- <br />pica/ sewer pipe connected with the said main sewer pipe line and <br />extending from said main sewer pipe line to and fl ush with the in- <br />side of said curb or curb line, and the Oack-filling and settling <br />of each of said sewer trenches to a true and solid surface on <br /> <br /> the sub-grade. <br /> <br /> Excepting from the work aOove described any of said work <br />already done upon ~orth Flower Street, West First StreW, and <br />South ¥1ower Street to the official grade. <br /> <br /> Excepting however, from all of the aforesaid described <br />work the portion thereof within any area which ia required by law <br />to be kept in order and repair by any person or company having <br />railroad tracks on North Flower Street, West~First Street, and <br />South Flower Street. <br /> <br /> All of said work s~all be done in accordance with the <br /> <br />plans and specifications therefor by the Board of Trustees of the <br />City of Santa Aha, by Resolution No. 733, on the 3d day of <br />October, 1921, for said work, and which plans and snec~fications <br />are now on file in the office of the Clerk of t?~ City of Santa <br />Ana and which plans and s~ecifications are hereby specifically <br /> <br /> <br />
