<br />RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK No. ?17.

<br /> Resolved, that whereas, t~e Board of Trustees of the City of
<br /> Santa Aha, on the 24th day of May, 1921, passed and adopted
<br /> Resolution of Intention No. ?06 to order the hereinafter briefly
<br /> described work to be done and improvement to be made in said City
<br /> which resolution of intention was duly and legally published, as
<br /> required by law, as appears by the affidavit of T. G. McDonour, now
<br /> on file in the office of the Cler~ of the city of Santa Aaa;
<br />
<br /> Whereas, after the adoption of said Resolution of Intention
<br /> No. ?06, notices of the passage thereof headed 'Notice of Improvement'
<br /> were, on the 27th Smd 2gth days of May, 1921, duly, conspicuously
<br /> and legally posted along the line of the contemplated work and im-
<br /> provement, and in front o£ all property liable to be assessed there-
<br /> for, not more than three hundred feet in distance apart, and sixty-
<br /> seven notices in all, and the work being chargeable upon a district
<br /> also posted said notices along all the open Streets within such dis-
<br /> trict, at not more than three hundred feet in distance apart, and
<br /> six in all on each street, to-wit: ninety-seven notices in all; all
<br /> in manner and form as required by law' and in Resolution of Intention
<br /> No. 706 directed and set forth, as appears by the affidavit of Edw.
<br /> W. Dahl, Street Superintendent of t~e city of Santa Aha, who per-
<br /> sonally posted the same, and who, upon completion of the posting of
<br /> said notices, ro:thwith, on the 2Sth day of May, 1921, filed said
<br /> affidavit in the Office of the Clerk of theCity of Santa Ana, making
<br /> oath that he completed the posting of said notices on the 2Sth day
<br /> of May, 1921, and
<br />
<br /> Whereas, all protests or objections presented having been
<br />disposed of, overruled and denied in time, manner and form as re-
<br />quired by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana,
<br />having now acquired jurisdiction to order the proposed imorovement,
<br />it is hereby Resolved that the puOlic interest and convenience re-
<br />quires the work and improvement herein described, and the Board of
<br />Trustees of the city of Santa Ana hereby orders the following work
<br />to be done and improvement to be made i~ the city of Santa Aha on and
<br />alon~ a portion of thatopen public street in said city, commonly known
<br />as East First Street, and which portion thereof is described as com-
<br />mencing at the point where the center line oi Nor th and Scuts Main
<br />Street intersects East ahd West First Streets thence easterly along
<br />East First Street £o the point where East First Street is intersected
<br />by a line drawn across East First Street two (2) feet westerly of and
<br />parallel with the westerly rail of the westerly track, as now con-
<br />structed, of the Atchison, Topeka & Santa Fe Railway ~Ompany, and
<br />the entire width of the described portion of East First Street from
<br />the curb constructed on the northerly side thereof to the curb con-
<br />structed on the southerly side thereof, and where no curb is construc$
<br />ed the~tosthe:northsrly and southerly curb lines existing on the de~½
