I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution order- ing work No. 808 was duly and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana at a regular meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of July, 1922, by the affirmative vote or.the following named members Ayes: of the Board of T~ustees: Trustees J.W.Tubbs, C.H.Chapman, H.H.Dale, W.A.Greenleaf, John G. Resolved, that it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha.to order the work to be done and improvement to be made hereinafter briefly4mseri~edl on and along a portion or,hat open public street in said city commonly known as West First Street, and which portion thereof is described as extending west from the west line of North Flower Street produced south across West First Street to the east line of South Baker Street produced north across West First Street; and fo~ the entire width of the described portion of West First. Streei from the curb on the north side to the curb on the south side thereof, and where no cua~b exists then frcm the~cu~bline on the north side to the curb line on the south side.of West First Street, and where any street Or alley intersects or ter~mi- nates in West First Street, then beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reservation to the north and south property lines thereof. ~he use hereinafter of the words or phrase "West First Street" means and shall at all times be construed to mean the portion of that open public street above described. The work and improvement which the Board of ~ustees of the city of Santa A~S intends to order done and made on and along West First Street is briefly described as follows: (1) ~he rSgrading of West First Street to a sub- g~ade fiwe (5) inches below the official grade on West First Street as now established.
