(1) The excavation in Sou~geon Street along the cen- ter line thereof of s main sewer trench approximately five (6) feet deep, cemmencinE at the place where the center line of Spurgeon Street intersects the oente~ line of East Santa Clara Avenue, and extending North to s point on the center line of Spurgeon Street ?3.6 feet south of the center line of Edgewood Road. (2) The excavation fo~ and the construction of two manholes constructed of eithe~b~iek or concrete, one of said manholes constructed at t?e point where the center line of ~ourgeon Street intersects the center line of East Santa Clara Avenue; and one of said manholes to be con- strutted at a point on the center line of Spurgeon Street ASO feet north of the center line of East Santa Clara Avenue. (3) The excavation for and the Construction of one Concrete syphon flush tank at a. point.on the center line of Spurgeon Street V3.6 feet south of the center line of Edgewood road. (4) The laying in the main sewer trench of a 6 inch inside diamete~ vitrified~salt~ glazed eyIindrical main sewer pipe, connected with the manholes and ~the flush tank. Ail of the described sewe~ trench and excavations, the main sewer pipeline, manholes, andflusktank to be according to the official grade, and when the same are completed t~e earth to be backfilled and thoroughly settled. Excepting from the cork above described any of said work already done upon Spurgeon Street to the official grade. Excepting, however, from all of the aforesaid described work the portion thereof within any area which is required by law to be kept in order and repair by any person or com- pany having railroad tracks on Spurgeon Street. Ail of said work shall be done ir~accordance with the plans and specifications adopted, therefor, by the Board of T~ustees of the city of Santa Aha, by Resolution No. on the 28th day of September, 1922, for said work, which plans and specifications are now on file in the office of the Clerk of the city of Santa Ana and are hereby referred to. The contemplated work and improvement on Spurgeon Street in the opinion of the BOard of T~ustees of the city of Santa Ana is of more than local or ordinar,y public benefit, and the Board of T~ustees of the city of Santa Aha hereby makes the expense of s,~chwork and improvement chargeable upon a district, which district said Board of Trustees hereby de- clares to be the district benefitted by said w~rk and im- provement, and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses
