RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 873. Resolved, that it is the intention of the Board of Trus-.~ tees of the city of Santa LDa to order the work to be done and improvement to be made hereinafter briefly described on and along a portion of that open public street in said city commonly known as East ~¥alnut Street, and which portion there-'I -_3 of is described as commencing at the west llne of Cedar Street and extending west to the west~ line of Halladay Street, and the entire width of the desoribed portion of East Walnut Street from the curb constructed on the uorth side thereof to the curb constructed on the south side thereof, and where no curb is constructed then to the northerly and southerly curb lines existing on the described portion o~ East Walnut Street, and where any street, portion of a street or alley intersects or terminates in the described portion of East Walnut Street then beyond the curbs, and Where no curbs exist beyond the curb lines, across the sidewalk reservations to the north and south property lines of the described portion of East Walnut Street. The use hereinafter of the words "East Walnut Street" means and shall at all times be construed to mean the Fortion of that open public street above described. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana intends to order done and made on East Waln6t Street is briefly described as follows: 1. The regrading of East Walnut btreet to a subgrade six (6) inches below the official grade thereof as now established. 2. i~e povlng of East Yalnut Street by the construct, ionl~ on the subgrade o2 a concrete pavement six (6) inches thick with a belt finish wearing surface complete to the official grade. and south The Construction of a concrete curb on the north sides of East WalnMt Street, and where shy street or alley intersects or terminates in East Walnut Street then the construction of a return concrete curb on each side of the intersecting or terminating street or alley to the north and south property lines on East Walnut Street, except where a concrete curb or concrete return curb is already Constructed.!"~ 4. The excavation in East Walnut Street of six (6) lateral house connection sewer trenches approximately five feet deep, one trench opposite each lot, piece or p~rcel of land fronting on East Walnut Street, except where a lateral house connection sewer already exists, each trench to extend northerly or southerly as the case may be from the main sewer pipeline now constructed in and existing along approximately the center llne Of East Walnut Street to and inside of the
