276 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8V5 <br /> <br />A t~ESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF m ~ <br /> ~H_J CITY· OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTE.~]TION TO VACATE A PORTION OF <br />MAPLE STREET AND A PORTION OF ADJACENT ALLEY. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha, <br /> California, do resolve and declare as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Resolved that the public interest <br />convenience requires ahd it is the intention of the <br />Trustees to vacate all that portion of Maple Street <br />of the Pacific Electric right of way between Chestnut Avenue <br />on the North and CamiIe Street on the South; also that portion <br />of alley lying adjacent to and South of Block "C" of Walnut <br />Grove Tract as the same appears of record, all in Book 8, <br />page 33, Orange County ~aps. <br /> <br /> Section ~. 'That sa%d Board does further declare that <br />lots, lands, or premises effected by this vacation and to pay <br />the expenses thereof, are those certain pieces or parcels of <br />real property located and situated within the exterior <br />boundaries of the following lines, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Co~encing at the ~est line of the PaclfLc Electric <br />right of way with its intersection of the South llne of <br />Chestnut Avenue, extending East along said South llne of <br />Chestnut Avenue to the west line of Oak Street: thence South <br />along the West line of Oak Street to the North llne of East <br />Myntle Street produced; thence West along said No~h line of <br />East ~yrtle Street produced to th~ West llne of the Pacific <br /> <br />Electric right of w · <br /> ay. thence North along the West line of <br /> <br />said Pacific Electric right of way to the South line of <br />Chestnut Avenue, the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person interested or effected thereby <br />or objecting to said work or vacation, or the eXten~ of the <br />district benefitted thereby and to be assessed to pay the <br />cost thereof, or said portion of said street or said portion <br />of said alley or either or any portion thereof or the manner <br />in which the same is being done may make written objections <br />to same on or before the 6th day of December, 19~, and f~le <br />the same with the Clerk of this Board. <br /> <br /> Section 4. The Street Superintendent shall cause to be <br />conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work <br />and improvement at not more than 300 feet in distance apart <br />notices of the passage of this nesolutlon in the manner and <br />form provided by law and referring to the n~mber of said <br />Resol~tlon and shall fur~er cause a similar notice to be~ <br />published for at least ten (10) days in the Santa Aha Daily <br />Evening Register, a dail~ newspaper of general circulation, <br />published and circulated in said city and which is by the <br />Board of Trustees hereby designated for that purpose, in which <br />the Superintendent of Streets shall publish s~ d notice of <br /> <br />and public <br />Board of <br />lying East <br /> <br /> <br />
