t~SOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 768. Resolved, That it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha to order the work to be done and the improvement to be made, hereinafter briefly described, on and along a portion of that open public street in said city conm~only known as oouth Patton ~treet, and. which portion thereof is described as commencing at and extending southerly from the~ south line of West %¥alnut Street, to the north line of Fairview Avenue, also on and along a portion --~ of that oven public street in the city of Santa Aha, common- ly known as South Van Ness Avenue, arid which portion thereof is described as commencing at and extending southerly from the south line of West Camile Street to the north line of Fairview Avenue; and the entire width of the described portion of South Parton Street and ~outh Van Ness Avenue, from the curb constructed .on the easterly side thereof to the curb constructed on the westerly sid~ thereof, and where no curb is constructed then to the easterly and westerly curb lines existing on the d~scr]~bed portions of South Patton btreet and South Van Ness Avenue; and wherever any street or alley inter- sects or terminates in the described portion of either bouth Patton Street or South Van Ness Avenue, then beyond the curb line and across ~he sidewalk reservations to the easterIy and westerly property lines on the described portion of the street where such intersecting street or alley exists. The use hereinafter of certain words or pkrases are intended to mean, do mean, and shall at all times be construed to have the meaning herein defined. --~ "South Patton Street" means the rortion of that street above described. "South Van Ness Avenue~' means the portion of that street above described. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the city of ~ ~anta Aha intends to order done and made in, ~ on, and along South Patton Street and South Van Ness Avenue is briefly described ns follows: (a) The grading of South Patton Street to a subgrade 6~ inches below the official grade on South Parton Street, as now established. (b) The excavation of 34 ].ateral house cdnnection sewer trenches, a~Droximately 6 feet deep, one trench to be oprosite each lot, piece or parcel of ]and fronting on South Patton Street, except where a lateral house conDection sewer already exists: each trench to extend easterly or westerly as the case may be, from the main sewer pipeline now con- structed and existing along a~prokimately the center line of
