Votes cast ~]S and for the proposition 19V2 Votes cast NO and against the proposition . 664 Total votes cast - 2636 Now therefore, the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana do resolve, determine and declare as follows:J Section.1. T~e public interest and also the public necessity demands the construction by the city .of Santa Aha, jointly with the city of Anaheim, a municipal corporation, of a municipal improvement being a joint outfall sewer, con- sisting of the acquisition of sufficient land at or in the immediate vicinity of the East quarter Corner of Section 32, Township 5 South, Range l0 West. S.B.B.~ M. to be used as a sewer treatment site, upon which to cbnstruct a sewer treatment plant, also the acquisition of all necessary materials, apparatus, appliances, machinery, and equipment with which to construct and the construction on the sewer treatment site of a sewer treatment plant, adequate for the reception of and for the proper, suffi- cient and scientific treatment of sewage, also the acquisition of the necessary right of way, extending from the sewer treatment site in a southerly direction approximately 23,V50 feet to the Pacific Ocean, upon which ~ ' to construct a sewer' pipeline and also the cquzsition of approximately 23,V50 feet of 36 inch internal diameter sewer pi~ , and the necessary materials and equipment with which to construct and the construction on the right of way and connected with the sewer treatment plant of a sufficient snd adequate sewer pipeline with proper ~m~n- holes, outlets and appliances for the transmission of sewage f~m the sewer treatment plant to, and the dis- charge thereof in, the waters of the Pacific Ocean, in order to carry out the objects, p~rposes and powers of the city of Santa Ana, and the cost thereof, and t~e proportion of the cost thereof to be paid by the city of Santa Ana, being the s~mm of ~lVS,000.O0, will be too great to be paid out of the ordinary annual revenue of the city of Santa Aha.
