(The use hereinafter in this Resolution of the words "~otnt outfall sewer" means and shall at all times be con- strued to mean the m~nicioal imDrovement above described.) Section 2. The bonds of the city of Santa Ana shall be issued and sold in the sum of $1V2,000.00 which is the principal of the in- debtedness to be incurred by the city of Santa Ana, for the payment of its proportionate part of the cost of the joint out- fall sewer. The s~m of $1V2,000.00 shall be represented by 172 bonds each in the denomination of ~l,000.00 and shall be numbered con- secutively from I to 1V2, both inclusive, all of the 1V2 bonds shall be dated the 1st day of May, 1922, and be paid as follows:. On the first day of Ma~, 1923, six of said bonds, being Bonds No; 1 to 6, both inclusive, shall be paid, and annually thereafter, on the 1st day of May, six additional of said bonds in successive numerical order shall be paid to and including the 1st day of May, 1934, and annually thereafter, on the 1st day of May, five additional of said bonds, in successive numerical order, ~all be paid, until all of s~id bonds, both principal and interest, have been well and truly paid, being an annual paymenh of not less than one-fortieth part of the principal of said indebtedness. Section 3. The rate of interest to be paid on said indebtedness is hereby fixed at five per centum per annum, payable semi-annually, and which is not i~ e×cess of the maximum rate of interest recited in Ordinance No. 6~. Section 4. The public interest and also the public necessity de- mands the construction by the city.of Santa Ana of a munioipal improvement, beiu~ two main sewer pipe]ines other and different from the sewer pipeline described in Section t of this Resolution and consisting of the acquisition of the necessary right of way upon which to construct a main sewer pipeline, extending southerly from West Fifth Street at a point thereon approxi- mately 200 feet east of the center line of Hawley Street, public streets in said city, to the southerly boundary line of the city of Santa Aha, a distance cf approximately 3900 feet, thence southerly to the public highway known as Edinger Street; thence westerly to the public highway known as 01d Mewport Road: thence southwesterly to a junction ~lace at or near the termination of the public highway known as Delhi Road in 01d Newport Road, a distance of approximately 9300 feet: also the acquisition of t~e necessary right of way upon which to construct a main sewer pipeline, extending from the intersection of Edinger and South Bristol Streets south to the septic tank
