street, part of a street, or alley intersects or terminates in the described portion of Kest First Street, then beyond the curbs, and whe~ no curbs exist, beyond the curb lines and across the sidewalk reservations to the north or south property lines of the described ~ortion of West First Street. ~e use hereinafter of t~e words ~'West First Street" means the portion of that street above describeU. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha t~tends to order done and in, on, and along West First Street is briefly descrlb~d as follows: (a) The regrading of West First Street to a sub- grade six inches below the official grade thereof. (b) T~e pavement of V{e~t First Street by constructin on the subgrade a concrete pavement six (8) inches thick with ~ bait finls~ wearing surface complete to the official gra~e. (c) ~e construction of a concrete curb at the curb lines on the northerly and southerly sides of West First Street, and lines on the northerly and southerly ~ides of West First Street, and where any street, part street, or alley in6ersects or terminates in ~est First Street, then the concrete curb to be returned on each side of any such intersecting or terminating street or alley on a curve back to the property lines on the northerly and southerly sides of West First Street, except where a con- crete curb or concrete return curb is already constructed. (d) The excavation in West First Street of fifteen (l~) l~teral house Connection sewer trenches five (8) feet deep, one trench to be opposite each lot, piece or parcel of lan~ fronting on ~est First Street, except where a lateral house connection sewer already exists, each sewer trench to exten~ ~ortherly or southerly as t~e case may be from the m~In sewer now constructe~ and emisting in and approximately along tbs center llne of West First Street to and inside of t?e curb constructed or to be constructed pursuant to this Resolution of Intention on the northerly or southerly sides of West First ~treet. The laying in each of said sewer trenc}~es of a four incl~ inside diameter vitrified salt glazed cylindrical lateral house connection sewer ~ipe connected with the main sewer pipe and extending to and inside Of the said curbs, and the backfilling and settling of each sewer trench to a true and soli~ surface on the subgrade. Excepting from the work above described any of said work alre~'dy done on ~est First Street to the official grade, and there is expressly excepted from ~iest First Street and upon which none of said work shall be done all
