140 HESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 998. RESOLVED, that, for the public interest and convenience, it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the. City of Santa Ana, to order work to be done and improvement to be made in, on and along a portion of that open public street in ~aid city commonly known as Buffalo Avenue, and which portion thereof is described as all that portion of Buffalo. Avenue which ex- tends Westerly from the West line of North Main Street, an open public street in the city of Santa Aha, to the East line of North Broadway, also an open public street in said city, and for the entire width of the described portion of Buffalo Avenue from the curb line on the North to the cum line on the South thereof. The use hereinafter in this Hesolution of Intention of the words or phrase "Buafflo Avenue", is intended to mean, does mean, and shall at ~ll times be construed to mean, the portion of said open public street above described. The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Aha intends to order done an~ made in, on and along Buffalo Avenue is briefly described as follows: 1. The regradln~ of sa~d street to a sub-grade six (6) inches below the official grade thereof as now established, and the pav'ng of the dewcribed portion of Buffalo Avenue by the construction on said subgrade of a Concrete pavement six (6) inches thick with belt finish wearing surface and complete to the official grade. 2. '~e excavation of trenches approximately five (5) feet in depth and the furnishing and installing therein of six (6) four (4) inch house Connecting sewers from the main sewer pipe line, as now in place in and aDproximately along the center line of the above deacribed Buffalo Avenue, and each trench to extend Northerly or Southerly ss the case may be from said ma~n sewer p~pe line, to the inside of the curb now constructed and existing in sa~d Buffalo Avenue in front of the lot, piece or parcel of land opposite which such trench is excavated; the laying in eac~ of said sewer trenches of a latersl house connection sewer as above provided, constructed of four (4) inch inside diameter vitrified salt glazed cylindrical sewer pipe connected with the main sewer pipe line and extending from s~id main sewer pipe line to the inside of said curb; and the backfilling and settling of each of said sewer trenches to a true and solid surface on the sub-grade. All of said work shall be done in accordance with the plans and specifications adopted therefor by the Board of Trustees of t~e city of Sm ta Ana, by Resolution No. 994 on the 7th day of May, 1923, for said work, and which plans and specifi-
