219, <br /> <br />P~ESOLUTION NO. 1043. <br /> <br />A resolution of the Board of Trustees of t~e City <br />of Santa Ana, as the legislative body thereof, find- <br />ing and determining that the public interest and <br />necessity requires the acquisition of a public im~?~ <br />provement, consisting of the opening and widening of <br />a public street in said City. <br /> <br />The Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, as the legislative <br /> <br />body thereof, does hereby resolve, find and determine as follows: <br /> <br />1st. The public interest ~nd also the public necessity <br /> <br />requires that the city of Smuts Ana acquire a public improvement, <br /> <br />consisting of the opening and widening of the south end of North <br /> <br />Park Boulevard so that North Park Boulevard will extend from the <br /> <br />northerly ling of West Santa Clara Avenue northwesterly on a curve <br /> <br />and eighty feet wide, the eaid North Park Boulevard being as now <br /> <br />laid out upon a certain map of Tract 425, North Broadway Park, <br /> <br />recorded in Book 16, pages 33 and 34, Miscellaneous Records of <br /> <br />Orange County, California. <br /> <br />2nd. The real property, all of which is located wholly <br /> <br />inside of the territory limits of the City of Sm ta Ana and des- <br /> <br />scribed as follows is necessary for the opening and widening of <br /> <br />North Park Boulevard: <br /> <br /> Commencing at the point of intersection of the <br />center line of North ~ro~dway, Santa Clara Avenue and <br />North Park Boulevard, a public street within the city <br />of Smta Aha, California; thence North 75© 10' East <br />along the Radial line of said North Park Boulevard as <br />shown on a Map of Tract No. 425 on file in Miscellaneous <br />Map Book 16, page 33, Blcords of Orange County, Calif- <br />ornia, s distance of 40 feet; thence Northwesterly <br />along a curve concave to the Southwest, with a radius <br />of 1058.23 feet to an intersection with the North llne <br />of Santa Clara Avenue for the point of beginning; thence <br />continuing along said curve to its intersection with the <br />East line of said Tract 425; said line being also the <br />West line of the above mentioned Lot 1, of the Ports, <br />Borden and Sidwell Tract; thence South 0© 52' West along <br />said East line of Tract No. 425 to an intersection with <br />the North line of Sm~ta Clara Avenue; thence South <br />89o 51' East along the said North line of Smta <br />Clara Avenue to the point of beginning; and containing <br />0.147 of an acre of land more oF less. <br /> <br /> Also Lot B, of Tract No. 425 according to <br />a map thereof, recorded and on file in Map Book <br />16, page 33, Miscellaneous Maps, necords of Orange <br />County, California, and containing 0.186 of an acre <br />o~ land more or less. <br /> <br />3rd. The foregoing resolution was duly introduced before <br /> <br />the Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana at s regular meeting <br /> <br />thereof, held e~ the 16th day Of July, 1923, was read, considered, <br /> <br />designated Resolution No. 1043, the roll was called and the <br /> <br />resolution passed by the following two-thirds and more of all the <br /> <br />members thereof: <br /> <br />Ayes: Trustees Geo. McPhee, Nat H. Neff, C.L.Ki]len, J.W.Tubbs. <br /> <br />Noes: Trustees None. <br /> <br />Absent: Trustee C.H.
