220 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> <br /> NO. 1044. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the city of Ss ta <br /> Aha, on the llth day of June, 1923, passed its Resolution of <br /> Intention No. 1013, to order the hereinafter described work to <br /> be done and improvement made on ,est .alnut Street in seid <br /> city, which Resolution of Intention No. 1013 was duly and <br /> legally published twice in t he Santa Aha E~ily Evening <br /> Hog,stet, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the <br /> City of Santa Aha, all as required by law, as appears from the <br /> affidavit of T. G. McDonour, Drincipal clerk of the printers <br /> and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br /> was filed in the office of the Clerk of the city of S~ta ABa <br /> on the 14th day of June, 1923, and now ou file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br /> Eesolutlon of Intention No. 1013, the ~treet Superintendent <br /> of the city of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line <br /> of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br /> thl.ee hundred (300) feet in distance apart, end 20 in all, <br /> notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, head- <br /> ed NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in manner, fo~m and substance as <br /> provided by law, and the work being chargeable upon a dis- <br /> trier, also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along <br /> all of the open streets within such district, not more than <br /> thl-ee hundred (300) feet in distance apart on each street, <br /> and did post on each street at least 10 notices, and on all <br /> said streets 30 notices; and <br /> <br /> W~LEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br /> <br /> Santa Ana commenced to post the said notices on the day <br /> <br /> of June, 1923, and fully Completed the posting thereof on the <br /> 2$th day of June, 1928, more than ten days before the day <br /> set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed work <br /> and improvement, all as appears by the affidavit of W. G. Knox <br /> Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Aris, filed in the <br /> office of the Clerk of said city on the 26th day of June, <br /> 1923, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the city of <br /> <br />Santa Aha was duly in regular session at t he Council Chamber <br />thereof at the hour of V:30 o'clock P. M. of M~nday, the 16th <br />day of July, 1928, being the day, hour and place named in the <br />Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when s nd <br />where any and all persons having any objection to the proposed <br />work or improvement might appear before the Board of Trustees <br />and show cause wh~ said proposed improvement should not be <br />carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention; <br />and <br /> <br /> <br />
