A P~ESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING Tt~IR INTENTION TO oRDER THE nEGRADING, PAVING AND OTP~RWISE IMPROVING A PORTION OF FAIRVIEW AVEND~ IN SAI~ CITY: DECLARING THE SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE OF MOHE TF~AN LOCAL OR OP~DINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DESCRIBING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITTED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE ~ STC ANy EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISS~ED TO ~]PHESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES, ~ND FIXING TNE TIME AND PLACE FOR HE~ING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. The 'Board of Trustees of the city of Santa Ana, California, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and amendments thereto, do resolve as follows: Section 1. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the i~tention of the Board of Trustees of the City of oanta Aha, California, to order the construction of the following described Work and improvement to be.made in, ou and along a portion of that open public street in said city, commonly known es Fairview Avenue, which portien extends West from the West line of ~outh Main Street to the West line of ~outh Flower Street and for the entire width of the described portion of P~Ir- view Avenue from the curb line on the Noz~h to the curb line on the South thereof, and where any street or alley intersects or te~'minates in the described portion of Fairview Avenue, then beyond the curb llne and across the sidewalk reservations to the North and South property lines thereof, excepting therefrom that portion of Fairview Avenue lying South of the center line ~ said Fairview Avenue and between the West line of South Main Street ou the East and the center line of So~th Broadway on the West, which portion is not included in nor made a part of this work, to-wit: (a) The regrading to a subgrade six (6) inches below the official grade thereof as now est~ lished and paving, by constructing on said subgrade, a four (4) inch asphaltic concrete base overlaid with a two (2) inch asphaltic concrete wearing surface, complete to the of~ cial grade. (b) The excavation of thirty-five (~§) lateral house connection sewer trenches, approximately eight (8) feet in depth, same to be placed opposite each separate lot, piece or parcel of l~nd fronting on the above described portion of Fair- view Avenue or where provided for on the plans and specifications for said work, hereinafter more fully referred to; each trench to extend Northerly and Southerly as the case may ~ , from the main sewer pipe llne, as constructed in and aoproximately along the center line of the above described street to and inside of the curb existing on the North and South sides thereof, and the laying in each of such trenches of a lateral house connection sewer, constructed of four (4) inch inside diameter ~itrified ~al~ glazed cylindrical sewer pipe eannec~ing with the maid main
