G. KnOx, said Street Superintendent who person- <br /> ally posted said notices of improvement and who, upon the com- <br /> pletion of the posting of said notices, forthwith on the 3rd day <br /> of July, 1923, filed said affidavit in the office of the Clerk <br /> of the City of Santa Ana, making oath that he completed the post- <br /> ing of said notices on the 3rd day of July, 1923. <br /> <br /> Whereas, at the hour of seven-thirty o'clock P.M. of <br />Monday, the 23rd day of July, 1923, at the council chamber of <br />the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, that being the <br />day, hour and place when and where any and all persons having <br />any objections to the proposed work or improvement might appear <br />before the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana and show <br />cause why said improvement should not be carried out in accord- <br />ance with said Resolution; and being a time less than forty and <br />more than fifteen days from the passage of Resolution of Inten- <br />tion No. 1034, and more than ten days after the posting of said <br />Notice of Improvement was fully completed; the Board of Trustees <br />met, heard, considered, passed upon, overruled Md denied all <br />protests or objections presented in time, fc~m and manner as re- <br />quired by law, and the Board of Trustees Of the City of SantaAna <br />having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done or <br />improvement made: <br /> <br /> It is hereby resolved by the Board of Trustees of the <br />City of Santa Ana that the public interest and convenience <br />quires the work and improvement herein described, and that the <br />Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the fol. <br />lowing work to be done and improvement to be made in said city, <br />in, on and along a portion of that open public street in said <br />city, commonly known as North Flower Street, and which pQrtion <br />thereof is described as all that portion of North Flower Street <br />which extends North from the ~orth line of West Fourth Street to <br />the South line of West Fifth Street, and for the entire width of <br />the described portion of North Flower Street from the curb line <br />on the East to the curb line on the West thereof. <br /> <br /> The use hereinafter in this Resolution Ordering Work <br />of the words or phrase "North Flower Street" is intended to <br />mean, does mean, and shall at all times be construed to mean the <br />portion of said open public street above described. <br /> <br /> The work and improvement which the Board of Trustees <br />of the City of Santa Ana orders done and made in, on end along <br />North Flower Street is briefly described as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
