3810 Santa Aha, in the City Hall thereof, any and all persons having any objections ~ the proposed work or improvement may appear before said Board of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improvement should not be carried out in accordqnce with this Resolution of Intention. Any property owner, whose property is to be assessed to ~ pay the cost and expenses of the proposed improvement may at the said time and'place, appear before the Board of Trustees and make objections to the proposed change or modification-of the grade on said part of Spurgeon Street, The Clerk of the City of Santa Aha shall cause this I I Resolution Of Intention to be published twice in SANTA AMA DAILY EVENING REGISTER, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the city of Santa Ana, and which newspaper is hereby designated for that purpose by the Board of Trustees. The Street Superintendent of the city of Santa Ana shall cause to be conspicuously posted along the line of said contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, but not less than three ~n all, notices of the passage of this Resolution of Intention. The work being chargeable Upon a district, copies of ~ said notice shall also be posted along a~l of the open stb~s within such district, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart on eac~ street; all of the posting must be fully completed at least ten days before the day in this Resolution of Intention set for hearing protests or objections. All of said notices shall be headed - NOTICE OF I~?ROVE-~ MENT - in letters of not less than one inch in length, and shall in legible characters state the fact of the passage of this Resolution of Intention, its date, and briefly describe the work and improvement proposed and refer.to The proposed work is to be done on part os Spurgeon Street at a ~rade other than the existing official g~ade, and the notice of improvement shall recite that fact, and refer to the plans ~nd specifications for further parti- culars as to such proposed grade. Said notice shall also contain a statement of the day, hour and place when and where any and ail persons having objections to the proposed work or improvement, having ~ny may appear before the Board of Trustees and show c~use why the said ~roposed improvement should not be carried out in accordance with this Resolution of Intention.
