The grade on Spurgeon Street so changed and modified shall be and become the true sfflcial grade thereof. The contemplated work and improw~ment in the opinion of the Board of Trustees on Sturgeon Street of the city of Santa Aha is of more than local or ordinary- public benefit, and the Board of Trustees of said city hereby makes thE' expenses of such work and improvement chargeable upon a district, which district said Board of Trustees hereby declares to be the district benefited by said work and improvement, and to be assessed to pay the costs and expenses thereof, and which district is located in the city of Santa Aha, Connty of Orange, State of California, the exterior boundaries thereof being described as follows: Beginning at the Southwest corner of Berkeley Tract, according to a map recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 7, page 23, Records of Orange County, C~lifornia, said point being iu the North line of East Washington Avenue; thence Northerly along the West line of said Berkeley Tract to the Southwest corner of Lot 12 of the Mary Sheffer's Addition, as per ~ap recorded in Miscellaneous Map Book 30 page 47, Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence northerly parallel to and 148.5 feet measured at right angles from the West line of Spurgeon Street to an intersection with the South line of East Seventeenth Street; thence Easterly along the South line of~East Seventeenth Street a distance of 178.5 feet to the center line of Spurgeon Street; thence continuing Easterly along the South line of East Seventeenth Street a distance of 183 feet; thence Southerly parallel to the center line of Spurgeon Street to an intersection with the South line of the said Mary Sheffer's Addition; thence continuing Southerly along the last mentioned course extended Southerly to an intersection with the North line of East Washington Avenue; thence Westerly along the North line o~ East Washington Avenue across Spurgeon Street to the point of begirFN~ing.
