Beginning at au angle point in the City Boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, said angle point being the southwest corner of the Seccombe Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 8, Page 89 of Miscellaneous Naps, Records of 0rauge County, aud running thence northerly along said City Boundary and ~ ong the west line of said Seccombe Tract to the northwest corner of said Seccombe Tract, and to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence north 89° 31' 42" west along the westerly extension of the north line of said Seccombe Tract and along said City Boundary 735.4? feet to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence north 0° 10' 05" west along said City boundary 664.9~ feet to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence north 89° 45' 00" West 321.07 feet along said City Boundary to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence north 0° 01' 05" west along said City Boundary 668.53 feet to a point on the center line of Dyer Road and to an angle ~oint in said City Boundary; thence westerly along said center line of Dyer Road and along said City Boundary to the intersection of said center line of Dyer Road with the northerly extension of the east line of Lot 5 of South S~ta Ana Place, as shown on a map recorded in Book 5, Page 50 of i~iscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, Cd ifornia, and to aa angle point in said City Boundary; thence southerly along said northerly extension of the east line of Lot 5 and ~ ong the East line of said Lot 5 and along said City Boundary 536.60 feet to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence westerly along a line parallel with and 536.60 feet southerly, measured aiong said east line and its northerly ex- tension of Lot 5, from said center line of Dyer Road, and along said City Boundary 330.00 feet to an angle point in said City Bo ~ndary; thence northerly along said City Boundary, and aiong a line parallel with and 330.00 feet westerly from said east line of Lot 5, 536.60 feet to said center line of Dyer Road and to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence westerly along said center line of Dyer Road and along said City Boundary to a point on said center line of Dyer Road which is 33.00 feet easterly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Main Street; thence southerly, departing from said City Boundary, along a line par~-llel with and 33.00 feet easterly, measured at right angles~ from said center line of ~ain Street to its intersection with a line~ which is 30.00 feet southeasterly, measured at right angles, from the center line of Newport Avenue; thence northeasterly along said line which is 30.00 feet s c~th- easterly from the center line of Newport Avenue to its inter- section with the easterly extension of the north line of said Se¢combe Tract; thence westerly along said easterly extension of the Seccombe Tract to the center line of said Newport Avenue and to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence Southwesterly along said center line of Newport Avenue and along said City Boundary to its intersection with the easterly extension of the south line of said Seccombe Tract and to an angle point in said City Boundary; thence westerly along said south line of the Seccombe Tract and along its easterly extension and along said City Boundary to the southwest corner of said Seccombe Tract, and to the point of beginning. That "Main and Newport N. E. Annex" is hereby designated as an appropriate name of said annexation; that said Council hereby declares its intention to~ aud it will, annex said territory to, and include it within, the Santa Ana School District, Santa Ana High School District, and Santa Ana Jr. College District, and upon completion of said annexation said territory shall be and become a part of said School Districts. -2-
