I~ESOLUTIOM NO. 58-107 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF DEED <br />AFTER SALE OF G~ROPERTT <br /> <br /> WHEREA~, heretofore the Fire$%i~._tion located at 1322 North <br />Sycamore Street in Santa Aha was vacated as a Fire Station, declared <br />surplus real properSy, and was offered for sale, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, thereafter the City Council entered into an agreement <br />with the President of the Santa Aha Board of Realtors for Multiple <br />Listing of said property under t~e condition that the President of <br />said Board was acting as the agent of the Board and not as an in- <br />dependent broker, and that 40% of any 5% commission resulting from <br />the sale of said property would be paid to the President of said <br />Board to be deposited by him into the Treasux-y of said Board as a <br />part of said Board's general fund, and that 60% of said 5% comm- <br />ission of any sale should be paid to the agent making said sale, and <br /> <br /> WHEBEA~, Elizabeth S. Miller, a member of said Santa Aha <br /> <br />Board of Realtors, obtained Bernard Beck___er, who made a written offer <br />to purchase ssi d property for $24, 000.00, and who deposited with <br />said offer the sum of $1,000.00 as a payment outside of escrow; <br />that after discussion before said Council on February 3, 1958, said <br />sale was approved for a total purchase price of $25,200.00, the <br />$1,000.00 deposited being payment for a one-year option to purchase <br />at said figure, less said deposit and any rent that might be paid <br />during said option, which said rent was fixed at $100.00 per month, <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Booker has now moved into said building and de- <br />termined that he would purchase ~he same by the payment of the entire <br />unpaid balance of the purchase price, through escrow, at this time; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk <br />of the Council are hereby directed to execute a Joint Tenancy Grant <br />Deed conveying to Bernard Becket and Cecilia M. Becket, husband and <br />wife, that certain property in the City of Santa Aha, California, <br />described as: <br /> <br /> <br />
