RESOLUTION NO. 58-260 ACKNOWT.RnGING THE RECEIPT OF A <br />COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR <br />ANNEXATION OF '~ITORY DESIGNATED "WEST SANT~ ANA ANNEX~" <br />THE STATEMENT ACCOMPANYING SUCH NOTICE, AN AFFIDAVIT OF <br />PUBLICATION THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE <br />PETITION · <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ heretofore there was filed with the City Clerk with the <br />City of Santa Aha a copy of NOTICE OF IN'~'.~ITION TO CIRCULATE PETITION FOR <br />ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY ~0 THE CITY OF SANTA ANA~ CALIFORNIA~ accompanied <br />by a written statement containing reasons for said petition together with an <br />affidavit of publication of said notice on the 17th day of October, 1958, <br />in the Santa Aha Register; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the Legislative <br />Body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of said notice, statement <br />and affidavit and approving the circulation of such petition. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City <br />of Santa Ana hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice, statement and <br />affidavit~ as hereinabove set out~ and that approval be and the same is hereby <br />given for the circulation of the petition for 8~nexatinn of that certain <br />territory heretofore known and hereby designated as "West Santa Ana Annex." <br />The circulation of said petition shall not begin until twenty-one (21) days <br />after the date of publication of said notice and statement. <br /> <br /> That the territory herein designated "West Santa Ana AnneX' lies in <br />the County of Orange, State of California,~ and is described as: <br /> <br /> <br />
