Property located - lO~ West 6th Street <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 59-58 ACCEPTING THE DEED OF CHARLES <br />SMITH, WHERE THE CITY IS GIVING CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, on March 2, 1959, ~e City Council <br /> <br />adopted Rem lution No. 59-48 expressing the agreement between the <br />City of Santa Aha and one ChMr~..S~j~h, to compromise an eminent ~g <br />domain action, Case No. 72569, whereunder the City exchanged a <br />deed for certain property on West Sixth Street, ~nd paid the stem <br />of $975.00 cash for Mr. Smith's interest in the pmperty herein- <br />below described, fO~. an irrevokable option to repurchase said <br />Sixth Street property; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mr. Smith has now delivered to the City a deed to <br /> <br />his one-third interest in the property located in the Santa Ana <br /> <br />Civic Center, which is needed for the library site; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby accepts that certain deed dated March llth, <br />1959 whereunder Charles Smith granted to the City of Santa Ana <br />certain property in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State <br />of California described as: <br /> <br /> An undivided one-third interest in and to Lot I of the <br /> Greenleaf Tract, as shown on a map recorded in Book 25, <br /> page 49 of Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles,Count~ <br /> California. EXCEPT the East 5 feet included in Ross <br /> Street, <br /> <br />and directs that Carl J.
