The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ans, <br />pursuant to the provisions of the Xmprovement Act of 1911, <br />and the Improvement Bond Act of 1918, and the amendments to <br />said Acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience <br />require, and it ia the intention of the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction. <br />of the following described work and improvement, all within <br />said city, to-wit: <br /> <br /> In, on along the roadways of the following described <br />portions of streets in the said City, to-wit: <br /> <br /> (a) Santa Clara Avenue from the East line of Bush <br />Street to the West line of Lincoln Avenue; <br /> <br /> (b) Spur]~eon Street from the North line of ~anta <br />Clara Avenue to the South line of Edgewood Road; <br /> <br /> (c) Santiago Avenue from the North line of Santa <br />Clara Avenue to the North city limits line, projected across <br />Santiago Avenue from the East <br /> <br /> And where any street or alley intersects or termi- <br />nates in any of the above described portions of streets, in, <br />on and along which work is to be done, or improvement is to <br />be made, then beyond the curb lime and across the sidewalk <br />reservations to the property lines thereof. <br /> <br />The work and improvement on the above described <br />portions of roadways is more particularly described as follows: <br /> <br /> 1. The regrading and the paving of all of the. des- <br />cribed portions of streets with Portland cement concrete pave- <br />ment five (5) inches in thickness with belt finish wearing <br />surface. <br /> <br /> Z. The removal of portion of curb where marked to <br />be removed on plans, and the construction of cement curb where <br />removed and where the same have not already been c~onstructed <br />on other portions of said roadways in accordance with the <br />plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifications hereinaf- <br />ter referred to. <br /> <br /> 3. The excavation for, and the construction of <br />main sewer lines, lateral house connecting sewers, manholes, <br />flush tank, and lemphole, of the materials and et the places <br />where shown in the plans, profiles, cross-sections, and in <br />the specifications hereinafter referred to. <br /> <br /> Excepting from the work abov~ described any of said <br />work already done to grade upon East Santa Clara Avenue, <br />Spurgeon Street and ~antiago Avenue. <br /> <br /> Excepting further from the above described work <br />other than sewers or sewer trenches, the portion thereof <br />within any area which is required by law to be kept in order <br />and repair by any person or company having railroad tracks on <br /> <br /> <br />
