RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1308. A I~OLUTION OF TPLE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF. THE CITY OF SANTA AND, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF FP~NCH STREET AND A PORTION OF SPURGEON STREET AND A PORTION OF A SE~ER LINE THEREIN; DECLARING IT TO BE FOR THE PUBLIC INTEREST AND CONVENIENCE; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR ITEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID PROPOSED IMPROVE}~ENT. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, pur- suant to the provisions of the "Street Opening Act of 1889", approved March 8th, t889, and amendments thereto, do resolve and declare ss follows: PUBLIC INTE~tEST AND CONVENIENCE SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of the Board of Tru@tees of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order tt~ following improvement in the City of Santa Aha, to-wit: a. That certain streets and sewer lines in said City be vacated and abandoned as follows: (1) To vacate that portion of French Street as shown on s map of "Carey R. ~mith~s Addition to the Town of Santa Aha" recorded in Book 26, page 9, of Miscellaneous Re- cords of Los Ange!es~County, California, the same being a por- tion of Spurgeon Street also known as French Street, more par- ticularly described as follows: Beginning at a point in the North line of Lot Seven (~) of Spurgeon Street Tract as per map recorded in Miscella- neous Map Book 6, page 2~, Records said point being described on said map as "Found old 2" x 2" Redwood Stake ou N.W. corner of Block B, Carey R. Smith's Addition"; thence Westerly along the North line of Lot Seven (V) produced across said French StX'eet, a distance of 47.6 feet to a point 24.45 feet Easterly from Easterly line of Spurgeon Strcet as shown on said map of Spurgeon Street Tract; thence Southerly along lot line of said Lot Seven (V) a d~s- tance of 21.88 feet; thence Easterly along lot line of said Lot Seven (7) a distance of 4V.6 lot line of said Lot Seven (V) a the point of beginning.
