RESOLUTION OF IN~ENTION <br />NO. 1189. <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF TI~E BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY <br /> OF SANTA ANA CAIIFORNIA, DECLARIN0 THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER <br /> T}~ WAVING AND OTP~ERWISE I~PROVING OF A PORTION OF WEST SEC- <br /> OND STREET IN SAID ~f; DECLARING THE SAID WORK OR IMPRovE- <br /> MENT TO BE OF MORE TPLqN LOCAL 0R ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT~ <br /> DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITTED BY SAID WORK OR IM- <br /> PROVEMENT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES <br /> THEREOF; DETErmINING THAT BONDS SF3~LI. BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT <br /> SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR <br /> HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPRCVEME~T OR TO TPIS~ <br /> EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. <br /> <br /> The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, <br /> Dursusnt to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 19tl, <br /> end the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amendments to <br /> said Acts, do resolve as follows: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. - That the public in,rarest and ~onvenience <br /> require, and it is the i~te~tion of the Board of Trustees of <br /> the City of S~nta Ans, C~liforni,, to order the construction <br /> of the following described work and imorovement in said City, <br /> to-wit: In, on .nd sloug the roadway of West Second Street <br /> iu ~id City from curb line to curb llne, betwee~ the East <br /> <br />.line of North B~ker Street .nd the East line of North Artesie <br /> Street, and where any street or ~lley intersects or termi- <br /> nates iu the described portion of West Second Street, then <br /> beyond the curb line and across the sidew, lk reservation to <br /> <br />the North and South property lines <br /> <br /> The work end improvement <br />cribed ~s follows: <br /> <br />thereof. <br /> <br />is more o~rticularly des- <br /> <br /> (a) The regr~ding of said street to ~ sub-grade <br />five (5) inches below the official grade thereof, as shown <br />on pl.ns, and the paving of the described portion of West <br />Second Street by the construction on s~id sub-grade of a con- <br />crete pavement five (5) inches thick with belt finish wearing <br />surface, end complete with the furnishing of all necessary <br />equipment, 1,bor and msterials to the official grade ss shown <br />on the plans. <br /> <br /> (b) The constructlou of cement curb on portions <br />of said street where not ~lready constructed, as shown on <br />plans, comrlete with the furnishing of ali necessary equip- <br />ment, labor and metertnls. <br /> <br /> (c) The excavation of trenches a~proxtmately <br />five (8) feet in depth, and the furnishing and laying therein <br />of eighteen (18) four (4) inch house connecti~ sewer br.n- <br />ches extendin~ from the m~in sewer li~e ~s shown on olans, <br /> <br /> <br />
