<br /> WHEREAS, the Ooard of Trustees of the City of Santa
<br /> Aua, on the 28th day of January, 1924, passed its Respiration
<br /> of Intention No. llSO, to order the hereinafter described work
<br /> to be done and improvement to be made on Lacy btreet, in said
<br /> City, w~icb Resolution of Intention No. llSO was duly and leg-
<br /> ail~ published twice in the Santa Aha Daily Evening Register,
<br />
<br /> a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of $~nta
<br />· ~ Ana, al~ as required by law, as appears in the affidavit of
<br />
<br /> Edna E,.Herrick, principal clerk of the printers and publish-
<br /> ers of the ss'id daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed
<br /> in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Aha on the
<br /> ~lst day of January, 1924, and now is on file t~erein; and
<br />
<br /> WHEltFJ.~, after the p~ssage and adoption of said
<br /> Resolution of Intention ho. llSO, the State Superintendent of
<br /> the City of Santa Aha conspicuously posted along the line of
<br /> the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than three
<br /> hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 21 in all, notices
<br /> of the passing of the said ~solutiou of Intention, headed
<br /> NOTICE OF ~,fPROV~ENT, iu manner, form, and substance as re-
<br /> quired by law, and the work being c~ergeable upon a district,
<br /> also conspicuously posted notices slong sll the open streets
<br /> and alleys withid said district, not more than three hundred
<br /> (300) feet in distance apart on each street, and did post on
<br /> each street st least 3 notices, and on all said streets 21
<br /> notices in all; and
<br />
<br /> ¥~HEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of
<br /> S~uta Aha commenced to post said notices on the 9th day of
<br /> February, 192~, and fully completed the posting thereof ou
<br /> the 9th day of February, 1924, more than ten days before the
<br /> date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed
<br /> work and tmnroveme~t, all as appears by the affidavit of W.G.
<br /> Knox, Street ~uperinteudent of the City of Santa Aris, filed
<br /> in the office of the Clerk of Said City on the 9th day of
<br />
<br />February, 1924, and now on file therein; and
<br />
<br /> ¥~FEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa
<br />
<br />Aha was duly in regular sesslou at the Council Chamber thereof
<br />at the hour of V:30 o'clock P.~., of Monday, the 18th day of
<br />Februery, 1924, same being the day, hour and place named in
<br />the [~esolutlon of Intention and ~otice of Improvement, when
<br />and where any and all persons having any objections to the
<br />proposed Hotice of Improvement might sppear before the Board
<br />of Trustees and show cause why said proposed improvement
<br />
<br />should not be carried
