189 RFSOIUTION OF INTENTION No. 1433. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHERWISE IMPROVING OF A PORTION OF SHELTON STREET, IN THE SAID CITY OF SANTA ANA; DECLARING TI=FE SAID WORK 0R IM- PI~gVEMENT TO BE OF MORE TH~ LOCAL OR 0~DINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROV! M~NT, AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEP~0F DETErmINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES, AND FI~ING THE TIME AND PLACE FOR 1TEARING 0BJE~C- TIONS TO SAID WORK 0R IYPROVEMFNT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DIS. TRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, pursuant to the provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and the amend- ments to said Acts, do resolve as foll~s: PUBLIC INTEREST, NECESSITY AND LOCATION SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience require, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction the following described work and improvement, allwithin said City, to-wit: In, on and along the roadway of the following des- cribed portion of street in s,id city: Shelton Street from thc center line of West Siwth Street to the South line of West Eighth Street, excepting therefrom that portion of West Sixth Street intersection on which the work is now done to grade, where any street or alley intersects or terminate~ in any of the above described portions of street in, on along which work is to be done or improvement is to be made, than beyond the curb line and across the sidewalk reservations to the p~operty lines thereof, and where any driveways intersect with any por- tion of said street, tDe grading and paving of said street shall, be from the street face of the curb to the street edge the sidewalk,and for their'entire width, of all driveways. The work and improvement on the above described por- tions of roadway is more particularly described ss follows: 1. T"ne regrad~ng and paving of the above described oortions of street from the North line of West S~xth Street to the South line of West Eighth Street, including the driveways, five (~) inches below the finished grade, and the construction thereon of a five (5) inch Portland Cement concrete pavement. 2. The removal of portions of curb if any, marked to i~ be removed on the plans, and t~e construction of cement curb
