C'lerk of the' Ci'ty of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION OF AW~RD. <br />No. 1694 <br /> <br /> ?grL~]REAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha <br />did, in open session at a regular adjourned meeting thereof on the <br />25th day of October, 1926, publicly open, exmmine and declare all <br />sealed proposals or bids for doing the follow:ng work under Resolu- <br />tion of Intention No. 1879. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects <br />all of said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned, and <br />hereby awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to <br />the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, Griffith Co. at the price <br />named in their bid, as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Item 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying thereon <br />of a Portland Cement Concrete Pavement having a thickness of five <br />(5) inches complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, <br />labor and material for the sum of Fifteen cents ($0.15) per square <br />foot. <br /> <br /> Item 2. The excavation for and the construction of cement <br />concrete curb, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equip- <br />ment, labor and material for the sum of Forty-four cents ($0.44) per <br />linear foot. <br /> <br /> Item 3. The excavation for and the construction of cement <br />concrete sidewalk havin~ a total thickness of three and one-half <br /> <br />(3}) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, <br /> <br />labor and materisl for the sum of Fourteen and ~ <br /> w cents (~0.145) per <br /> <br />square foot. <br /> <br /> <br />
