RESOLUTION OF AV~ARD NO. 1704 WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha did, adjourned in open session at a regular/meeting thereof on the 29th day of Novem- ber, 1926, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the following work under Resolution of Intention No. 1695 in the City of Sauta Ana: RESOLVED, that the said Board of Trustees hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids except that next herein mentioned, and here- by awards the contract for doing said work and improvement to the lowest responsible bidder, to-wit, Griffith Co., at the price named in their bid as follows, to-wit: Item 1. The grading to a subgrade and the laying thereon of a Portland Cement Concrete pavement having a thickness of ~ve (5) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for t~ke sum of Sixteen and 2/10 cents ($0262) per square foot. Item 2. The excavation for and the construction of cement concrete curb, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equip- ment, labor and material for the sum of Forty-six cents ($0.46) per linear foot. Item 3. The excavation for and the construction of cement concrete sidewalks, having a total thickness of three and one-half (3~) inches, complete with the furnishing of all necessary equipment, labor and material for the sum of Fifteen and 1/2 cents (~0.15~) per aquare foot.
