168 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 1657. <br /> <br /> In Weed File <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA, DETERMINING AND DECLARINS THAT WEEDS WHICH BEAR SEEDS OR A WINGY <br />OR DO%~NY NATURE AND ATTAIN SUCH A LARGE GROWTH AS TO BECO~iE A FIRE MEN- <br />ACE WHEN DRY, AND WHICH ARE NOXIOUS AND DANGEROUS, ARE GROWING UPON <br />CERTAIN STREETS, gIBEWALKS AND PRIVATE PROPERTY IN THE SAID CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AND ARE A PUBLIC NUISANCE; DIRECTING THE STREET SUPERINTENDENT <br />TO POST NOTICES TO I~ETROY SAID WEEDS, AS REQUIRED BY LAW; FIXING THE <br />TIME FOR HEARING OBJECTI,ONS AND PROTESTS; AND r~rRECTING THE ABATEMENT <br />THEREOF IN ACCORDANCE %¥ITH AN ACT OF THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF <br />CALIFORNIA ENTITLED "AN ACT AUTHORIZING ~fUNICIPALITIES TO DECLARE NOX- <br />IOUS OR DANGEROUS %~fEEDS GROWING UPON THE STREETS OR SIDEWALKS, OR UPON <br />PRIVATE PROPERTY WITHIN MUNICIPALITIES, TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, CREAT- <br />ING A 1LIEN UPON TIIE PROPERTY FRONTING UPON SUCH STREETS OR SIDEWALKS OR <br />UPON WHICH SUCH NUISANCE EXISTS FOR THE COST OF ABATING SAME, APPROVED <br />N[AY 26th, 1915: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS. <br /> No. 1658. <br /> <br /> Resolved that the plans and specifications for the following <br />work tob e done and improvements to be made in the City of Santa Ana, <br />upon and along those open public streets in said City co~xmonly known as <br />South Main Street and described as follows: <br /> <br /> South Main Street from center line of First Street South to <br />the South line of T~act No. 252 extended Westerly across South Main <br />Street, said work being described as follows: <br /> <br /> The grading and paving of the above streets with (8) eight <br />inch P~rtland cement concrete pavement and the construction of concrete <br />curb, and the installation of a sanitary sewer system, driveways and <br />ornamental lighting system, the laying of sidewalks and culverts. <br /> <br /> All as prepared by the City Engineer and d~signated as assess <br />merit district No. llS, for the improvement of the above described portio <br />of street and submitted this 21st day of June, 1926, be and the same ar <br />hereby adopted as and for the plans and specifications for doing said <br />work. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and <br />regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the Board of Trustees of the <br />City of Santa Ana, at a regular meeting thereof held on the 21st day of <br />June, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Trustees C.H.
