170 RESOLUTION APPROVING ASSESSMENT DIAGRAm. No. 1660. Resolved, that the diagram of the property affected or bene- fited by the work and improvement on Victoria Drive described in Ordi- nance of Intention No. 787 and to be assessed to pay the expenses there made by the City Engineer of the City of Santa Ara be, and the same is hereby approved, and the Clerk is ordered and directed to certify that fac~ and the date hereof. A Resolution of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, authorizing the purchase of certain water bearing lan~ in the said City, providing for payment ~or said land. ~;v~EREAS, the City of S~ta Ana relies entirely upon deep well water for its domestic water supply and whereas there is now avail~ able land known to be water bearing at a price deemed by the said Board to be fair, reasonable and advantageous to the City of Santa Ana. Be it therefore resolved, that the following described real property be purchased by the City of Santa Ara for water bearing land, to-wit; Commending at the northwest corner of Lot 10, of Bates Tract as shown on a map recorded in Book l, page 98 of Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, California, running thence South 84o 15' East 11.28 chains to the Northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence South 1° 18' West 5.?8 chains; thence North 89o 50' West 8.~S chains; thence South 1° 18' West ~.081 chains; thence North 8~° ~0~ West ~.90 chains to the West line of said Lot l0 a~d thence North 1° 15' East 9.22 chains to the point of beginning, containing 7 acres more or less.
