RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 16~4. A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF .THE CITT OF SANTA ~ ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE PAVING AND OTHEY WISE IMPBOVING OF A PORTION OF SOUTH MAIN STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK OR IMPROVEMENT TO BE O~ MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFI_ED BY SAID WORK AND IMPROVEMENT~ ANI TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF; DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO ~EPHESENT SAID COSTS AND EXPENSES; AND FIXING THE TINE AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO S AID WOrK OR IMPROVEMENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED OR BOTH. The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ara, pursuant to the provisions of the ImprOvement Act of 1911, and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to s aid Acts~ do resolve as follows: SECTION I. That the public interest and convenience require and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said City to-wit: In, on and along the roadway of South Main Street in said ~ity from the center line of First Street South to the South line of Tract No. 282, extended westerl$ acroms South Main Street. The work and improvement is more particularly described as follows: That portion of South Main Street in said City from the center line of First Street South to the South line of Tract No. 252 extended Westerly across South Main Street, be graded, paved with a Portland cement concrete pavement, at the places where, and to a thickness and width as shown on the plans, profiles and in the s~cifications herein- .after more fully referred to; and have constructed along said street cement curbs and sidewalks where no such curb or sidewalk now e~ists. That a sanitary sewer be constructed in said portion of South Main Stree and that concrete culverts be installed at the places where shown on the plans and that an ornamental lighting system be constructed in the said portion of South Main Street together with the necessary appurtenances t said lighting system, including the installation of double light stan- dards of a type and kind known as the King Ornamental Standard Design, Drawing No. KO171, complete including foundations, anchor bolts, pot heads, wiring, lamps, globes, canoPies, conduits, cables and other neces sary items to complete the lightinE system. That for the installation of the hereinbefore described system a patented article wiX1 be used, and a license agreement between the patent owner and the City of Santa Ara is now on file in the office of the City Clerk, to which said agreement reference is hereby made, and the same is made a part of this Resolution or,Intention by reference, the same as though set forth in full herein.
