RESOLUTION NO. 59-J-L5 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 0F <br />SANTA ANA AWARDING CONTRACT TO IMPROVE TOWNER <br />STB~.T AND OTHER STREETS IN THE C±T~, IN ACCORD- <br />ANCE WITH RESOLUTION 0F INTENTION NO. 59-45 <br />(A.D. 202) <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, in open <br />session on May 4, 1959, publicly examined and declared all sealed <br />proposals or bids for doing the work described in its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 59-45, declaring its intention to improve the streets <br />named in said resolution, all in accordance with said resolution; and <br /> <br /> Reference hereby is made to the Resolution of Intention for the <br />description of the work and assessment district and all further pa~ <br />ticulars; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEBEFOHE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> ~EUTION 1. That the City Council hereby awards the con- <br />tract to the lowest responsible bidder, to wit: <br /> <br /> Co, Bros. Construction Co. <br /> <br />pursuant to the bid submitted for doing the work described in said <br />Resolution of Intention, which bid is on file in the office of the <br />Clerk of the Council. This award is made at the price named in the <br />bid, and the City Council hereby rejects all other proposals or bids <br />for the doing of said work. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2. The Clerk of the Council hereby is directed to <br />publish notice of this award twice in "The Santa Ana Register," a <br />newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
