Mar. 21 & 28, 1959 <br />3 affidavits - proof - <br />5 slips <br /> <br />.kD 202 <br /> <br />c: Deputy Trelas. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 59-45 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO IMPROVE <br />TOWN]ER STREET AND OTHER STREETS IN THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, DETERMINING THAT BONDS SH~LL BE ISSUED <br />TO REPRESENT THE COST THEREFOR, DECLARING THE <br />WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC <br />BENEFIT, AND THAT THE EXPENSE THEREOF SHALL BE <br />ASSESSED UPON A DISTRICT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha, by Resolu- <br />tion No. 59-37, adopted February 16, 1959, set a hearing, pursuant <br />to Section 17 of Article XIII of the Constitution of the State of <br />California, for March 2, 1959, to determine whether the public con- <br />venience and necessity require the improvement of the streets re- <br />ferred to in said resolution, by the doing of the work described iu <br />said resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on said date said hearing was held and said City <br />Council, by Resolution No. 59-44 , adopted by a four-fifths vote <br />on March 2, 1959, determined that the public convenience and neces- <br />sity require the said improvement of <br />Santa Aha, by the doing of said work, <br />lution; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience <br />require, and it is the intention of the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana to order, the following work to be done, to wit: the im- <br />provement of: <br /> <br /> Towner Street between Fairview Avenue and Russell Avenue; <br /> Russell Avenue between Rosewood Avenue and Shelton Street; <br /> Russell Avenue between Towner Street and Lowell Street; <br /> <br /> Rosewood Avenue between Borchard Avenue and a point 280 <br /> feet ! north of the center line of Borchard Avenue; <br /> <br /> Borch~rd Avenue between Rosewood Avenue and a point 164.22 <br /> feet i east of the center line of Shelton Street; <br /> <br /> Milshire Avenue between Olive Street and a point 166.70 <br /> feet ~ west of the center line of Olive Street; <br /> <br />said streets in the City of <br />all as set forth in said reso- <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
