WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City cf Santa An~ <br />commenced to post s~id.notices on the ~Sth day of Nay, 19~, and <br />fully completed the posting thereof on the 25th day of Nay, <br />more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing p~tests or <br />objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from <br />the affidavit of C. Lo Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ana, filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the ~th <br />day of ~ay, 19~, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana <br />was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at <br />the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. ~. on Monday, the 13th day of June, <br /> <br />19~7, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intez <br />ion and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persone <br />having any objection to the proposed work or improvement may ,ppear <br />berate the Board of Trustees and show cause why said prop~ ed work <br />should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1780; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been <br />disposed of, ~verruled and denied, in time, manner and form as <br />required by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana <br />having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and <br />improvement made; <br /> <br /> IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the <br /> <br />of Santa Ana that the public interest and convenience requires the <br />work done and improvement made particularly set forth and described <br />in Resolution of Intention 1760, which is dated the 9th day of Nay, <br />1927, on file in the Office of the Clerk of said City and hereby <br />referred to and made a part hereof, and the Board of Trustees of <br />the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the work to be done and improve- <br />ment to be made in said City, as particularly set forth and <br />described in the said Resolution of Intention No. 1760 as aforesaid. <br /> <br /> That the expense of said work and improvement is by said <br />Resolution of Intention made chargeable upon a district, which said <br />district is described in and by the said Resolution of Intention and <br />is shown by a plat or map thereof o~ file in the Office of the City <br />~ngineer. <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to <br />post a no, Ice of said work, together with the specifications therefo] <br />conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door of <br />said Board of Trustees, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing <br />the work ordered. He is also directed to publish twice a notice <br />in~iting such proposals and referring to the specificatic~s p~ted <br />or on file in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspape: <br />published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby <br />designated for that purpose. <br /> <br /> <br />
