WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City cf Santa An~ commenced to post s~id.notices on the ~Sth day of Nay, 19~, and fully completed the posting thereof on the 25th day of Nay, more than ten (10) days before the date set for hearing p~tests or objections to the proposed work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of C. Lo Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City on the ~th day of ~ay, 19~, and now on file therein; and WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. ~. on Monday, the 13th day of June, 19~7, being the time, hour and place named in the Resolution of Intez ion and Notice of Improvement, when and where any and all persone having any objection to the proposed work or improvement may ,ppear berate the Board of Trustees and show cause why said prop~ ed work should not be carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention No. 1780; and WHEREAS, all protests or objections presented having been disposed of, ~verruled and denied, in time, manner and form as required by law, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana having acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed work done and improvement made; IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Board of Trustees of the of Santa Ana that the public interest and convenience requires the work done and improvement made particularly set forth and described in Resolution of Intention 1760, which is dated the 9th day of Nay, 1927, on file in the Office of the Clerk of said City and hereby referred to and made a part hereof, and the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana hereby orders the work to be done and improve- ment to be made in said City, as particularly set forth and described in the said Resolution of Intention No. 1760 as aforesaid. That the expense of said work and improvement is by said Resolution of Intention made chargeable upon a district, which said district is described in and by the said Resolution of Intention and is shown by a plat or map thereof o~ file in the Office of the City ~ngineer. The Clerk of the City of Santa Ana is hereby directed to post a no, Ice of said work, together with the specifications therefo] conspicuously for five days on or near the Council Chamber door of said Board of Trustees, inviting sealed proposals or bids for doing the work ordered. He is also directed to publish twice a notice in~iting such proposals and referring to the specificatic~s p~ted or on file in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspape: published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby designated for that purpose.
