II OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO, 1V89 %~e Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the P ~ovisions of the "Acquisition and Improvemen~ Act of 19Bd" do resolve as follows: Section 1. ..hat the oublic interest and necessity require, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, California, to order the following acquisitions for a portion of Staffor. d Street in the City of Santa Ana, to-wit: A strip of land 80 feet wide and being 40 feet on each side of the following described center line, to-wit: Beginning ~t the intersect- ion of the surveyed center llne of Stafford Street with the Northeasterly line of D Street now conm~only known as and called Poinsettia Street, both as shown on a map of Santa Ana East recorded in Book 10, Pages 43 an~ 44 Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles C~nty, C~ifornia, thence Northeast- erly in a straight line to meet the surveyed center line of Stafford Street at its intersection with the Southeasterlj extended Southwesterly line of Block ~8 of said Santa Ana East. That the property necess~ry to be taken for such opening and extension of that portion of Stafford Street des- cribed above includes all that parcel of land situated in the City of Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, and particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginnin~ at the m~st %Testerly corner of Block 57, of Santa Aha East as recorded on a map thereof on file in Book 10, Pages 43 and 44, Niscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, thence Southwesterly along the South- westerly extended Northwesterly llne of said Block 57 to its intersection with the Northeasterly llne of Poinsettia Street, thence Northwesterly along said last mentioned llne to its intersection with the Southwesterly e~tended Southeasterly line of Block 56 of said Santa Ana East; thence North- easterly along the Southwesterly extended South- easterly line to the most Southerly corner of said Block 56, thence Southeasterly in a straight line to the point of beginning. Section II. That the district of lands which will be benefited by said proposed acquisition to be known as the "~ssessment District" shall, as proposed, include all th~ territory in the City of Santa Ans., Co~naty of Orange, State of California, within the following described exterior line, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the SouthWesterly llne of Santiago Avenue 100 feet Southeasterly from the Southeasterly llne of Stafforo~ Street, thence Southwesterly and parallel to the South- easterly llne of Stafford Street and It~South- westerly extension to an intersection with the Northeasterly l~ne of Poinsettia Street; thence Northwesterly along said Northeasterly llne a- distance of 280 feet, thence Northeasterly-and parallel to Stafford Street to an intersection with the Southwesterly llne of Santiago Avenue, thence Southeasterly along said llne to the point of beginning.
