Reference is hereby made to the m~p of said assessment district appro3, ed by said Board of TElstees and on file in the Office of the Clerk of said Board, line the extent of such district, details as to the extent thereof. Section III. acquisition hereinbefore which indicates by a boundary and which shall govern for all That to defray the expenses of the set forth bonds will be issued to the total said bonds to bear interest at the rate of seven payable semi-annually, and the aggregate princip~ amount of the same, per cent per annum, of all bonds issued to be paid and discharged within five years afte~ the date of is:~uance, approximately one-fifth part of said aggregate principal to be paid annually, all in gold coin, and that a special fund for the payment of said bonds will be constituted by the levy of special assessment taxes upon the lands within the assessment district, accordiag to the assessed value of said lands, exclusive of the improvements thereon, and in the manner provided by the provision of said act. Section IV. That the 15th day of August, 1927, at the ho of 7;30 O~clock p. I~. of said day is the day and hour and the Council Chamber of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, in the City Hall in the City of Santa Ana, is the place fixed by said aoard when and where any and all pers~ons having any objections to the pro- posed acquisiti~ as hereinbefore set fo~h, to the extent of the assessment district, or to any or all of the foregoing, may appea~ before said Board of Trustees and be heard. ~ectim V. That the proceedings for sa{d acquisition and extension of Stafford Street shall be had and taken under and in accordance with an ac"~ of the legislature of the State of California known and designated as the "Aacq~z[sition and Imprc~ement Act of 192~ approved I~ay 23, 1925, and amendments thereto, and said bonds shall also be issued in accordance with said act and amendments thereto. Section VI. That Clyde L. Jenken, City Engineer of the City of Santa ;ma is hereby appointed Superintendent of Work withc~t compensatior~, and he ia hereby ordered to cause to De conspicuously posted in the manner pr~vlded in said act, notices of the adoption of this Resolution, entitled "Notice of Public Improvement", in letters of not less than one inch in 1,~ngtn, in the fon~ required by laws Sectlm VII. That the Clerk of this Board of Trustees shall certify to the adoption of this Resolutlm and shall cause the same to be published by two insertions in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, California, which is hereby designated for that purpose and for making all other publications in or inbident to these proceedings.
