IN THE MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEI~ENT DIsTRIcT NO. 1 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. RESOLUTION ORDE~HING ACQUISITION AND I~PROVEMENT ~,,0~, 18OS BE IT RESOLVED: By the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, known as the City Council, that it is hereby found, determined and ordered as follows: 1. That the owners of more than one half of the area of the property included in the Assessment District described in the Resolution of Intention No._ 1788, in the matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 1 of the City of Santa Aha, a~ pted by ~hi Board on July 18, 1927, and in the specifications therefor referre~ to in said Resolution, have not made written objections going to the entirety of the things herein proposed to be done; ~ 2. That the boundaries of the Assessment District for said Acquisition and Improvement District No. 1, as proposed in said Resolution of Intention, are hereby adopted and established a~ the boundaries of said Assessment District; 5. That the public interest and necessity requires and it is hereby ordered, that the following acquisitions for North Sycamore Street in the City of Santa Ana be made: Ail of a strip of land 80 feet in width and being 50 feet on each side of the follow~ng described center line except the South 26 feet thereof; beginning at the intersection of the surveyed center line of West Washington Avenue with the surveyed center line of Sycamore Street as it now exists South of Washington Avenue; thence North to the.intersection of the easterly extended South line of Lot 1, Block B, of Swannerts Addition with the center line of Sycamore Street as shown on a map of'Block B, of Swanner's Addition recorded in Miscellaneous Maps, Book 8, Pages ~ and 8, Records of Orange County. Also a strip of land 50 feet wide East of and adjacent to the North 178 feet of Sycamore Street as shown on said map of Block B, of Swanner's Addition. Also a Strip of land 80 feet in width and being 50 feet on each side of the following described center line; beginning at a point on the Easterly ex- tended Nc~th line of Lot $ of said Block B, of Swanner's Addition 50 feet East of the Northeast corner of said Lot 8, thence North to a point in the South line of West Seventeenth Street, which is 519.6 feet West of the center line of Main Street, all as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 1788, adopted July 18th, 1927, and in the Specifications therein referred to, and that the property necessary to be taken fc~ such extension of North Sycamore Street, and which is hereby ordered to be acquired therefor, is that described in Section 1 of said Resolution of Intention. 4. That the City Attorney of the City of Santa Aha, is hereby ordered to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa Ana, in the Superior Court of the State of California, in and for the County of Orange, for the condemnation of the property necessary to be taken for the acquisition ordered in paragraph ~ hereof, and described in Secti~ 1 of said Re~ lution of Intention
