IN THE.MATTER OF THE ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2 OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANAo RESOLUTION ORDEEING ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT BE IT RES OLVED: 1804 By the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, com~monly known as the City Council, that it is hereby found, determined and ordered as follows: 1. That the owners of more than one-half of the area of the property included in the Assessment District, described in Resolution of Intention No. 1789, in the matter of Acquisition and Improvement District No. 2 of the City of Santa Ana, adopted by this Board on July 18th, 1927, and in the specifications therefor referred to in said Resolution of Intention, have not made written obJec~ona going to the entirety of the things herein proposed to be done. 2. That the boundaries of the Assessment District for sd Acquisition and Improvement DisSrict No. 2, as proposed in said Resolution of Intention, are hereby adopted and established as the boundaries of said Assessment District. 3. That the public interest and necessity re~ ire, and it is hereby ordered, that the following acquisition for Stafford Street in said City, be made: A strip of land 80 feet wide and being 40 feet on each side of the following described center line, to-wit: Beginning at the intersection of the surveyed center line ~of Stafford Street with the Northeasterly line of D Street, now comm~only known as and called Poinsettia Street, both as shown on a map of Santa Ana East, recorded in Book 10, Pages 43 and 44 Miscellane~ls Records of Los Angeles County, California, thence Northeasterly in a straight line t~ meet the surveyed center line of Stafford Street at its inter- section with the Southeasterly extended Southwesterly line of Block 86 of said Santa Aha East. Ail as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention No. 17~ adopted July 18th, 1927, and in the specifications therein referred to, and that the property necessary to be taken for such widening of Stafford Street, and which is hereby o~dered to be acquired therefor~ is that described in Section 1 of said Resolution of Intention No. 1789. 4. That the City Attorney of the City of Santa Ana is hereby ordered to bring an action in the name of the City of Santa An in the Superior Court of the State of C~ifo~nia, in and for the County'of Orange, for the condemnation of the pro~rty necessary to b. taken for She acquisition ordered in paragraph 3 hereof, ~d describe in Section i of said Resolution of Intention No. 1789, 'and to do all throngs necessary to prosecute said action to final determination. ~.
