298 <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> <br /> NO. 1732 <br /> <br /> WIqEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br />Ana on the 7th day of February, 1927 passed its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1725 to order the hereinafter described work to <br />be done and improvement to be made in, on and along a portion <br />of Fruit Street and other streets in said City, which Resoluti. <br />of Intention No. 1720 was duly and legally published twice in <br /> <br />the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, <br />published and circulated in the City <br />required by law, as appears from the <br /> <br /> a daily newspaper <br /> <br />of Santa Ana, all as <br />affidavit of Edna L. <br /> <br />Herrick, principal Clerk of the printers and publishers of saic <br />daily newspaper, and which affidavit was filed in the office <br />of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana, on the 12th day of <br />February, 1927; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1728, the Street Superintendent of <br />the City of Santa Ana'conspicuously posted along the line of <br />the contemplated work and improvement at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 42 in all, notices <br />of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, headed NOTICE <br />OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as required <br />by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district, also <br />conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of the <br />open streets within 'such district, at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the <br />affidavit of C.L.Jenken, said Stre*t Superintendent, who <br />personally posted said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> .WHEREhS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ana commenced to post said notices on the 24th day of <br />February, 1927, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />24th day of February, 1927, more than ten (10) days before <br />the date set for hearing protests or ob.~ectlons to the pro- <br />posed work or improvement, all as appears by the affidavit <br />of C.L.Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, <br />filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City, on the 2~th <br />.day of February, 1927 and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa <br /> Ana was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber <br /> thereof, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday the 7th <br /> day of March, 1927, being the time, hour and place named in <br /> the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, when <br /> and where any and all persons having any objection to the <br /> proposed work or improvement might appear before the Board of <br /> Trustees and show cause why said proposed work should not be <br /> carried out in accordance with said Resolution of Intention <br /> <br />~n <br /> <br /> <br />
