RESOLUTION OF INTENTION NO. 1740 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, DECLARING THEIR INTENTION TO ORDER THE INSTALLATION AND CON- STRUCTION OF AN ORNAMENTAL LIGHTING SYSTE~ ON PORTIONS OF THIRD STREET, FOURTH STREET AND NORTH SYCAMORE STREET; DECLARING THE SAID WORK TO BE OF MORE THAN LOCAL OR ORDINARY PUBLIC BENEFIT; DECLARING THE DISTRICT TO BE BENEFITED BY SAID WORK AND I~PROVERENT AND TO BE ASSESSED TO PAY THE COSTS AND EXPENSES THEREOF, DETERMINING THAT BONDS SHALL BE ISSUED TO REPRESENT SAID COSTS AND EXP~SES; aND FIXING THE TIRE AND PLACE FOR HEARING OBJECTIONS TO SAID WORK OR IMPRO%~MENT, OR TO THE EXTENT OF THE DISTRICT TO BE ASSESSED, OR BOTH: The Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Ana, pursuant to the provisions of tile Improvement Act of 1911 and the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, and amendments to said acts do resolve as follows: SECTION 1. That the public interest and convenience requires, and it is the intention of the Board of Trustees of the City of Santa Aha, California, to order the construction of the following described work and improvement in said city, to-wit: The furnishing, installation and construction of an o~namental lighting system on Third Street, from Broadway to French Street, Fourth Street from Ross Street to Main Street and North Sycamore Street from First Street to Church Street, together with the necessary appurtenances to said lighting system, including the installation of double light standards of a type and kind known as the King Company's Twin Light Ferronite Standard, Design No. K-O171 complete, inclu~ ng foundations, anchor bolts, potheads, wiring, lamps, globes, canopies, conduits, cables and other necessary items to complete the lighting system and the repairing of all curbs and side walks, pavement or other improvements out or damaged during the construction; together with such other work and improvement as shown on the plans and specifications which shall be considered as incidental to the above described work and improvement. That for the installation of the hereinbefore described system a patented article will be used and a license agreement between the patent owner and the City of Santa Ana is now on file in the Office of the City Clerk, to ~hich said agreement reference is hereby made and the same is made a part of this Resolution of intention by reference the same as though set forth in full herein. All of the foregoing work is fully set forth, delineated and described on plans, profiles and cross-sectio! on file in the Oeflce of the City Engineer and specifications for Assessment District No. l~& on file in the Office of the City Clerk which plans, profiles, cross-sections and specifications were
