330 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION ORDERING %~ORK NO. 1748 <br /> <br /> WItEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br /> Santa Ana, on the 28th day of February, 1927, passed its <br /> Resolution of Intention No. 1730, to order the hereinafter <br /> described work to be done and i~provement to be made in, on <br /> and along a portion of East Washihgton Avenuein said City, <br /> which Resolution of Intention No. 1730 w~s duly and legally <br /> published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening Register, a <br /> daily newspaper published and circulated in the City of <br /> Santa Ana, all as required by law, as appears from the <br /> affidavit of Edna L. Herrick, principal clerk of the printers <br /> and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br /> was filed in the Office of the Clerk of the City of Santa <br /> Ana, on the 4th day of ~mrch, 1927; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1730, the Street Superintendent <br />of the City of Santa Ana conspicuously posted along the line <br />of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br />three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 12 in all, <br />notices of the passage of said Resolution ef Intention, <br />he~ded NOTICE OF I~PMOVENENT, in the manner, form and <br />substance as required by law, and the work being chargeable <br />upon a district, also conspicuously posted copies of said <br />notice along all of the open streets within such distr~ct, <br />at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, <br />as appears from the affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street <br />Superintendent, who personally posted said notices of <br />improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Sup~rftntendent of the City of <br />Santa Aha commenced to post said notices on the 14th day of <br />~arch, 1927 and fully completed the posting thereo~ on <br />14th day of Mar~, 1927, more than ten (10) days before the <br />date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed <br />work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of <br /> <br />C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, <br />filed in the Office of the Clerk of said City, on the 15th <br />day of March, 1927, and now on file thereinI and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of the City of <br />Santa Ana was duly and regularly in session at the Council <br />Chamber thereof, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P. M. on Monday, <br />the 4th day of April, 1927, being the time, hour and place <br />named in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement <br />when and where any and all persona having any objection to the <br />proposed work or improvement might appear~before the Board <br /> <br /> <br />
