RESOLUTION ORDERING WORK <br /> NO. 1873 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, <br />on the 3rd day of January, 1928, passed its Resolution of <br />Intention No. 1868, to order the hereinafter described work t¢ <br />be done and improvement to be made in, on and along those <br />open public streets in said City, commonSy known as Bush <br />Street from the Northerly line of First Street to the <br />Southerly line of Sixth Street; Spurgeon Street from the <br />Northerly llne of First Street to the Southerly line of Sixth <br />Street; French Street from the Northerly line of First Street <br />to the Southerly line of Sixth Street and a portion of Third <br />Street, which Resolution of Intention No. 1865 was duly and <br />legally published twice in the Santa Ana Daily Evening <br />Register, a daily newspaper published and circulated in the <br />City of Santa Ara, all as required by law, as appears from the <br />affidavit of W. Lee Millis, principal clerk of the printers <br />and publishers of said daily newspaper, and which affidavit <br />was filed in the office of the Clerk of the City of Santa Ana <br />on the ?th day of January, 1928; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after the passage and adoption of said <br />Resolution of Intention No. 1865, the Street Superintendent <br />of the City of Santa Ara conspicuously posted along the line <br />of the contemplated work and improvement, at not more than <br />three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and 62 in all, <br />notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention, heade, <br />NOTICE OF IMPROVEMENT, in the manner, form and substance as <br />required by law, and the work being chargeable upon a district <br />also conspicuously posted copies of said notice along all of <br />the open streets within such district at not more than three <br />hundred (300) feet in distance apart, as appears from the <br />affidavit of C. L. Jenken, said Street Superintendent, who <br />personally posted said notices of improvement; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Street Superintendent of the City of <br />Santa Ara, conmaenced to post said notices on the 12th day of <br />January, 1928, and fully completed the posting thereof on the <br />12th day of January, 1928, more than ten (lC) days before the <br />date set for hearing protests or objections to the proposed <br />work and improvement, all as appears from the affidavit of <br /> <br />C. L. Jenken, Street Superintendent of the City of Santa Ana, <br />filed in the office of the Clerk of said City on the 12th day <br />of January, 192~, and now on file therein; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Sant~a Ana <br />was duly and regularly in session at the Council Chamber <br />thereof at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. on Monday, the 23rd <br />day of January, 1928, being the time, hour and place named <br />in the Resolution of Intention and Notice of Improvement, <br /> <br /> <br />
