RESOLUTION NO. 1901 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION IN RE PETITION "WEST ORANGE ADDITION". <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana~ has <br />received a written petition asking that certain territory therein <br />described be annexed to said City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said City Council has examlne~ the persons who <br />circulated said petition under oath, also tl~e Clerk and Engineer <br />in reference thereto, and having examined into all matters and <br />things relating to the validity of said petition; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby finds aa follows: <br /> <br /> 1. That said petition has been filed under and in <br />pursuance of the Act of the Legislature approved April ll, 1913, set <br />forth in Chapter 312 of the Statutes of 1913, and the amendments <br />thereto; <br /> <br /> 2. That the territory so proposed to be annexed to said <br />City of Santa Ana is inhabited territory and is contiguous to the <br />said City of Santa Ana; <br /> <br /> 3. That said petition has been signed by not less than <br />One-fourth in number of the qualified electors residing within said <br />territory as shown by the Registration of Voters, of the County of <br />Orange, California, being the county in which said territory is <br />situated. <br /> <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />and regularly introduced, passed and adopted by the City Co~mcil of <br />the City of Santa Ana, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held <br />on the 12th day of March, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br /> AYES, TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.G.Knox, <br /> Stanley E.
