RESOLUTION N~. 1902 RESOLUTION CALLING ELECTION ON ANNEXATION OF "WEST ORANGE ADDITION". WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha did on the 12th day of March, 1928, receive a written petition asking that certain new territory hereinafter described be annexed to, incorporated in and made a part of the said City of Santa Aha; and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Aha has found that said written petition was si~ned by not less than one-fourth in number of the qualified electors residing within said territory, as shown by the Registration of Voters of Orange County, California; NOW, THEREFORE, TEE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: 1. A special election is hereby called and ordered to be held in the territory hereinafter described, for the purpose of submitting to the electcms residing in said territory the question whether said territory shall be annexe~ to, incorporated in, and made a part of said City of Santa An~ A notice shall be given of said election by the publication o! a notice thereof in the Orange Daily News, a daily newspaper of general circulation printed and published outside said City of Santa Arm, but in ~he County of Orange, California, which said territory is situated, at least once a week for fit successive weeks next preceding the date of said election; said notice to be in words and figures substantially as follows: NOTICE OF SPECIAL ELECTION NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN: That a special election will be held in the territory hereinafter described, designated as the "West Orange Addition", on the~$Sth day of April, 1928, for the purpose of submitting to the electors residing in said territory the question whether said territory shall be annexed to, incorporated in and made a part of said City of Santa Ans. The territory so proposed to be annexed is particularly described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at a point in the Westerly line of North Main Street, said point being 100 feet North of the Northerly Boundary line of the City of Santa Aha, Orange County, California; running thence Northerly along the Westerly line of North Main Street to an intersection with the Southerly line of Chapman Avenue; running thence Westerly along the Southerly line of Chapman Avenue to an intersection with the Westerly line of property deeded by T. R. Lawrence to Frank M. Luton and wife, September 5rd, 1925, as recorded in Book 605, Page 527 of Deeds, Records of Orange County, California; thence South- erly along said Westerly line of said Luton Property to the southwest corner of said Luton property; th~ ce Easterly along the Southerly line of said Luton property to an intersection with a line drawn parallel to and distant 150 feet Westerly from the Westerly line of Flower Street as it now exists South of Chapman Avenue in the Lockhart Tract, as recorded in Book 4, Pages 812 ~nd 515, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California; thence Southerly along
