RESOLUTION OF A'~TARD NO. 1907 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana did in open session at a regular meeting thereof hel~ on the 19th.day of March, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals or bids for the following materials, and finds that none of the bids on file are satisfactory as to Itc No. 63 in said sealed proposals. RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals or bids and as an emergency exists in the reserve water supply on account of the Flower Street Reservoir having been destroyed by a wind storm, hereby awards the contract for the following item to WARREN & BAILEY COMPANY OF LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, at the following price, to-wit: I - 20 inch double acting altitude valve for elevated tank control, Golden-Anderson Patent Automatic Cushioned Double Acting Controlling Altitude Valve, Fi$~re 33-A, to be operated ~der 141 feet head for the sum of Fourte Hundred Dollars ($1,400.00) complete, f.o.b. Santa Ana, Callfo~nia. Flanges shall be drilled according to A.W.W.A. Standard; and trench side delivery to be made within forty- five (45) days from date of this award. Said materials to be paid £or upon delivery as here- in provided, provided, however, that twenty-five ~r cent (25~) of the contract price shall be withheld by the City of Santa Ana for a ~riod of eight (8) months thereafter. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is full, true and correct cooy of Resolution of Award No. 1907 duly introduced and regularly passed by the City Council of City of Santa &ua, at an adjourned re$~lar meeting thereof held on the 26th day of March, 1928, by the following vote, to-wit: th.
