RESOLUTION OF AWARD <br />NO. 1908 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, did <br />in open session at a regular meeting thereof held on the 19th day <br />of March, 1928, publicly open, examine and declare all sealed pro- <br />posals or bids for water pipe and accessories for use by the City of <br />Santa Aha, which bids called for bids on separate items. <br /> <br /> RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby rejects all of <br />said proposals or bids for the hereinafter mentioned items, except <br />that next herein mentioned, and hereby awards the contract for the <br />materials and accessories hereinafter specified to the lowest <br />responsible bidder, to-wit: WATER WORKS SUPPLY COMPANY~ at the <br />prices named in its bid as follows, to-wit: <br /> <br /> Item No. VO. 1-12 inch tapping valve with 18" x 12" <br /> <br />tapping sleeve for 125 lbs. working pressure, <br />sleeve, spigot by bell valve, for the sum of <br />and 50/100 dollars ($146.50) each. <br /> <br /> Michigan make, bell <br /> <br />One Hundred forty-six <br /> <br /> Item No. Vi. 1-12 inch tapping valve with 20" x 12" <br />tapping sleeve for 125 lbs. working pressure, Michigan make, bell <br />sleeve, spigot by bell valve, for the sum of One Hundred forty-nine <br />and 40/100 Dollars ($149.40) each. <br /> <br /> A~! of A.W.W.A. standard, and as per specifications <br />accompanying bid of March 19, 1928, all to be delivered at trench <br />side within 45 days from this award. <br /> <br /> The aggregate of this award is $295.90. <br /> <br /> Said materials to be paid for upon delivery as herein <br />provided, provided, however, that twenty-five percent (25%) of the <br />contract price shall be withheld by the City of Santa Ana for a <br />period of eight (8) months thereafter. <br /> <br /> I hereby certtf~ that the foregoing Resolution is a full, <br />true and correct copy of Resolution of Award No. 1908 duly intro- <br />duced and regularly passed by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha, at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of <br />March, 1~28, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />NOES, <br /> <br />ABSENT, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />TRUSTEES: J.L.McBride, W.J.Kelly, W.G.Knox, <br /> Stanley E.
