IN THE MATTER OF ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT <br />DISTRICT NO. ~ OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANAe <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2141 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE <br />ACQUISITION AND IMPROVEMENT OF A STREET TO BE <br />KNO~N AS SANTA ANA BOULk~ARD, THE ACQUISITION AND <br />IMPROVEMENT OF PORTIONS OF BROADWAY~ THE <br />ACQUISITION BY WIDENING AND IMPROVEMENT OF A POR- <br />TION OF FLOWER STREET~ AND THE IMPROVEMENT OF <br />PORTIONS OF MAIN STREET, CHARLOTTE STREET, ROE <br />DRIVE, CHAPMAN AVENUE'AND RIVERSIDE DRIVE~ ALL IN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Clyde L. Jenken, City Engineer of the City of Santa Ana, was <br /> <br />on the 4th day of November, 1929, appointed and directed to pr~e ~ furnish <br /> <br />specifications for certain proposed acquisitions and improvements of a street <br /> <br />to be known as Santa Ana Boulevard, the acquisition and improvement of portions <br /> <br />Broadway, the acquisition kY widening and improvement of a portion of Flower <br /> <br />Street, and the improvement of portions of Main Street, Charlotte Street, Roe <br /> <br />Drive, Chapm~ Avenue and Riverside Drive, all in the City of S~nta Ana, under <br /> <br />proceedings to be had and taken "In the Matter of Acquisition and Improvement <br /> <br />District No. 4 of the City of Santa Aha"; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Clyde L. Jenken, on the <br />presented said specifications to this City Council, <br /> <br />4th day of November, 1929, <br />and this City Co ~uncil has <br /> <br />examined the s~me, and deems that the public interest <br />acquisitions and improvements therein provided for, <br />forth; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVES: <br /> <br />are hereby approved by this City Council~ <br /> <br />specifications be filed with the Clerk of this City Council. <br /> <br /> and convenience require the <br />in the manner therein set <br /> <br />That the said specifications be and th, <br />and it is hereby erdered that said <br /> <br /> The foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced, passed and adopted <br />b~ the City Council of the City of Santa Ana at a regular meeting thereof held <br />on the 4th day of November, 1929, by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />NOES~ TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />ABSENT~ TRUSTEES: <br /> <br />J.L.McBride~ W.J.Kelly~Homer C. <br />Stanley E.
